Chopper Bike Back Fender

This shot is prior to clear coat. After the clear is laid down you will only see the skull as a goast image at just the right angle in the sun. The matches the previous work I did on the side pieces and the old oil tank of the same bike.

Devil Dog

No, it's not a motorcycle, but this tough dog is on both sides of a pulling tractor. The owner is a former Marine and so he named his tractor after the nickname.

Patriotic Eagles

Nothing's better than eagles and flags! The two eagles on either side are similar but different so the design would balance. There will be more happening on this bike to be added in the future.

This matches the front faring of the eagles and flag background.

The Lion & the Eagle

This bike was painted for a local minister who has the symbols of the lion and the eagle for his church. He wanted these symbols on his bike using the "white work" method. This was created on the front of his front fender and will look very imposing in someone's rearview mirror!

Lion & Eagle Fender

This is the back side of the Lion/Eagle fender painted with white eagle's feathers so these three feathers will show up as he turns the front wheel.

Here is the same "white work" done on the minister's bike to match the front fender. He wanted a screaming eagle on one side of his gas tank.

Here is the matching other side to the minister's bike with the roaring lion. This was a challange on a curved surface.

Native American Chief

This is a leather bib cover for a gentleman's Indian motorcycle. It is free hand painted, as most of my work is, with just white on black leather. This piece will go on top of the back fender.

Saddlebags

I painted the tommahawks on the side and eagle's feathers on the back sides. With the help of a local leather worker, I created a new customized decoration on the side with horse hair tassles- since the owner has horses.

Cell Phone Holder

One of the smallest pieces I've ever painted for a bike, this cell phone holder attaches to the same gentleman's Indian bike.

Red Feather

Another piece I did for the Indian bike. This owner of the bike is a Vietnam Vet who has a Purple Heart. In Native American culture a red feather is given to a warrior wounded in battle. This was a fitting tribute.

Chopper Blades

This airbrushed "Blade" design on both sides of this chopper was quite a challange. The artwork was done to match previous work done on his bike by another artist. In addition, it had to be airbrushed on the bike in my garage, as it could not be removed.

Blade Oil Tank

This custom built oil tank has an airbrushed blade design on it to match the other pieces on the bike. The design wraps around on both sides of the tank.

Chopper Seat

I just enhanced the embroidered design on this seat for the blade-chopper bike so it showed up a bit more. I don't normall do seats due to wear, but this is mainly a show bike only so will not get the normal wear.

Forever in Our Hearts

This tribute piece was for a man's boxer who he dearly loved who had passed away.

Bull's Bike

This gentleman wanted a bull's skull and loved western themed things. The black areas are airbrushed and fade into the dark cherry color (which looks better in the sun). The bull's skull is hand painted on top, then the barbed wire is hand painted over the entire piece.

This is the front fender of Bull's bike before the clear coat was put on. You can see where the black was airbrushed in because it still looks flat. Once the clear was on it melted in and is tough to see except in the sun. The skull was hand painted on the front.

Feather Flames

Each piece of this bike has hand painted red eagle feathers blowing down across them. The man who owned it was mostly Native American. He wanted a "flame-like look" but with red eagle feathers. A head-turner for sure!

Snake Bike

When the customer asked you to paint turquoise snake skin over just about every piece of their bike, you don't ask questions. These pieces have many hours of work hand painting each individual scale and highlighting them also. The tank, two side oil covers and shocks were all done in this pattern.

Woodland Wolves

Another piece that was done with mixed techniques. Most of the background was done with the airbrush, and the wolves were all hand painted.

Eagle with an Attitude

That is exactly what the man wanted- an eagle with an attitude, so I made his this hand painted eagle glaring out at you on the front of his faring. Just about every piece on his bike is now painted with something from me.

Eagle's Claws

This set of eagle's claws are painted on either side of the bike's crash bar covers. They are airbrushed and handpainted. He wanted it to look the the eagle on the front was holding on and glaring out at you.

Calvary Scene

This is on the same eagle bike, but on the top of the back luggage carrier. He belongs to the Christian Motorcycle Association and so this was a surprise for his wife. I have also since painted the words, "Remember" at the bottom.

Feather Quote

"They shall mount up with wings like eagles" (a quote from Bible-Isiah) is the inspiration for these two matching hard side saddlebag covers. The feathers look like they are blowing back from the front where the eagle is. If you are wondering, P.U.S.H. stands for Pray Until Something Happens.

The Hands of God

This is the final piece on the eagle bike and it is on the top of his tow behind trailer. This actually a scene from Mt. Rainer. It is mostly all hand painted. He asked for this specific quote and maybe a little landscape to match and about fell over when he saw the final painting!

Prowler Cover

This piece includes use of airbrushing, hand painting and pinstriping. It is the engine cover for a Plymouth Prowler (their logo is a black panther), and the gentleman's car is black and red. It had to have all the original raised lettering sanded level, then a special primer laid down, then the black paint- then finally my paint work.

Pinstripe

This man's tank from the company had a very uneven pinstripe on the tank. He was very particular and wanted to fix it, but it was under the clear. So I masked it off wider, painted a base navy color and then went over that with fine flicks of silver paint for a hint of texture.
