Mozina Graphics:  Helmets

My helmet work combines airbrushing and hand painting with a clear coat on top.  Sometimes I have also used enamel pin striping paint with no clear coat needed, depending on the time and budget that my client has.

I will create a work of art that is personalized specifically so that it has personal significance and meaning for you.  Each piece is a One-Of-A-Kind work of art.  I guarantee there will never be another one exactly like it. You may see similarities in my works, but there will never be another one just like it- that is what makes each piece valuable.  I do not silkscreen or stencil these out.  These are all original hand painted designs that will not be copied.

All the paint work you see on these pieces are 99% free-hand painted.  I do not use transfers or trace other artists' work out of books.  Each piece is custom designed by me from scratch.  I also can not pre-draw or trace something down prior to painting on most surfaces because they will not allow any type of pre-drawing, so it must be done free-hand.  I will occasionally use custom made vinyl stencils, but only to recreate specific business logos or small, tight lettering.

War Bonnet

This is a side view of a helmet designed for a local motorcycle dealership. All of the bonnet portion was handpainted in shades of gold.

War Bonnet- Back

Here is a back view of the same helmet.

Never Forgotten...

This gentleman's helmet was to honor the Vietnam Vets who didn't return home. The owner was a Marine in Vietnam.

Eagle Tribute

For a gentleman in honor of two of his friends who passed away. It is a moon and eagle. The reflection of the trees is not part of the design.

Fire Dragon

A welder asked me to paint a helmet up with this "fire dragon" skeleton. It is painted with enamel paint so it will last a long time and hold up to the heat and abuse it will be given. It is painted with the same design on the other side as well.

For Rose

The woman who owns this helmet is named Rose, thus the roses she wanted on her helmet. They also serve to hide the logo on the back that she did not want there.

Celtic Knot

This was painted on both sides of the helmet to match a celtic knot that was on the chrome side oil covers on this ladies' bike. I had to stretch the pattern a bit to make the two sides match correctly on the curved surface.

Celtic Knot

This is the back of the helmet and shows you how they symmetrically match up on either side.
